#Micromasters
As discussing with @spider-father.bsky.social at the weekend, micromasters are the absolute best.

I had more of these than any other bots, because they were cheap and fun and what my mum could afford.

I *love* Micromasters.

The 1989 teams are more well-known, but there are tons of gems in the 1990 roster, too! Come hear all about them in our new podcast episode — now live on Spotify, YouTube, or all podcast hosts --> triple-takeover-toyc...

Yeah the micromasters wasn't good. At least the Dr Wu ones look cool.

The micromaster bases as robots was neat I guess. But none of the pricing lined up for me and I have more nostalgia for minicons than micromasters.

I hope Dr. Wu's Micromasters do well enough for them to start making Microtrailers. Hell, even if someone would just knock off the G1 or AOTP ones. I will buy a fleet of them whichever way.

2020 care plan / soft home reintroduction after brain injury.
Papi died 2 years before (at 95), healthy, one fall. Brain injury was the only language I had for what happened.
Built before AI while running my brokerage + finishing MicroMasters.
Some assignments stay assignments.
This one carries him.

September 25, 2026 at 8:36 PM
Oh be still my heart they are beautiful.
see if they start making all the micromasters I’d be in trouble lol
Is there an option to just set up a permanent standing order direct to Dr. Wu, because this is just nuts what they get away with.

X-Men '97 mostly worked because it picked up where the old show left off. This isn't even that.

We should be in the '88 & '89 year, with Powermaster Prime, Micromasters, Pretenders & Seacons. Bumblebee, Jazz, Grimlock & Starscream had new toys. Monstructor, Bludgeon, Nightbeat & Thunderwing too.

Love Micromasters. It's a shame the Siege updates seemed to fluctuate pretty drastically in quality. I've got the Star Saber/Deathsaurus ones and the little space-car-thing that came with that Gen Selects Omega Sentinel, and they're all pretty fun.

This place is crawling with Micromasters! Not content with cutting Galoob’s Micro Machine grass Hasbro decided to take a swing at Matchbox Con-Nect-Ables with Combiners! Boring folk may think a jet nose on a dump truck isn’t much use but I always imagined they gained the super powers of both halves

Yeah, Micromasters rule. I was at the hight if my childhood toy enthusiasm when these came out originally, so I have a lot of fond memories. They played well with Powermaster Optimus Prime's base mode.

Just arrived! My first go with Dr Wu 3rd party “Micromasters” 🤩

Would be fab if the movie concept Sweeps came single-packed, if only because I’d like a little troop of them, but then again only a bozo says no to a lambo 🤭

wait, there were official pins of MICROMASTERS??? damn.... I'm jealous

Seriously, Stocking up the titan Tidal Wave with all the mincons on deck is so satsifying. You can do that on the original, but the scale here just hits different.
Same with Minicons/Micromasters/titanmasters on the other base-mode titans.

And that's the combiners.

As for the others: You can reissue Legends Greatshot as its still a great toy. Clipper & Riker can just be redecos of Siege Micromasters, but I wouldn't object to new toys with legs that don't fall off so easily. (Seriously Hasbro, how did you mess up Micromasters?!)
September 14, 2026 at 4:48 PM
Ow, my eye!! I’m not supposed to get Micromasters in it.
