More small steps in progress in my #MidCenturyModern house projects. Neutra house numbers (DWR.com), DIY install=5 a tad low (hangs head).
😍But just look at the solid brass door knobs/escutcheons in this place!😍 I cleaned them w/o removing patina, which I love.

Another ship detail in my new old #MidcenturyModern house: a captain's wet bar tucked into a kitchen cabinet corner. Knowing it's there makes mopping hell floor doable.

Recording places in my house for posterity because I'm an awful housekeeper and the tumbleweed furballs and spider webs are bound to return.
I love this house, especially now that all boxes are unpacked and things put away. It's a delight.
After sunset, living room in natural low light, no lamps on but the beams across the ceiling are uplit and it reminds me of the Brooklyn Bridge at night. In the foyer, a leather chair with Otomi hand embroidered pillow with brass ship portal made into side table and a framed black and white photo of a dog looking straight at the photographer. Brass down light with grow bulb light houseplants on a low counter with an unusual wall of wavy glass. A black leather Knoll lounge chair with red suede pillow in a study by the fireplace and crowded bookshelves
