The Nymphaeum, Aristotle’s boarding school at Mieza where he taught the sons of the Macedonian aristocracy including Alexander, Hephaestion…Ptolemy. The school must have been an outdoor affair, roughly 25 km as the crow flies from the first Macedonian capital at Aigai which was rebuilt by Philip II.

Breaking news: A 2,400-year-old school complex was uncovered at Mieza, where Aristotle educated Alexander. Daniel names Greece and its first great king. Critics called Daniel’s Greek setting a late invention. Once again, the critics were wrong, and the Bible stands true. #BiblicalArchaeology #Bible

Archaeologists excavating near Naousa in northern Greece recently uncovered a roughly 2,400-year-old school complex, or gymnasium.
The site, which stood in the ancient Macedonian town of Mieza, may have been where Aristotle taught in the 4th century BCE
