Successful decode of a @radioactiveal.bsky.social birthday image from the #MightyKBC for the first time in a long time. This from the 0900z WRMI 7780 kHz broadcast, which I didn't even know about until recently.

This week's @radioactiveal.bsky.social birthday image on the #MightyKBC is 'the other Beach Boy' Bruce Johnstone. I had a heck of a time getting this to decode… Took multiple replays to get the first image, which then proceeded to glitch out. Finally got a clean-ish copy on the 6th attempt.

This week's #MightyKBC images from @radioactiveal.bsky.social and the Peter Johns DX thingamajig. From WRMI 5950's 0100 UTC broadcast. Not good enough to enjoy the music, as usual, but the pictures and text break through a little better. Alt text has captions, mistakes and all…

The signal was pretty marginal, but the later Olivia64k came through, albeit very slowly. Big boys don't cry!

This week's @radioactiveal.bsky.social birthday image of the week on the #MightyKBC is Trini Lopez. If I had a hammer, I'd hammer out the noise in this decode!

This week's @radioactiveal.bsky.social birthday radiogram on the #MightyKBC, plus the two Peter Johns DX Headlines SSTV images. In my limited decode time I couldn't figure out what the underlying text mode was, so no captions on those pictures this week.

Reception of this weekend's #MightyKBC via WRMI 5950 wasn't good enough for music enjoyment, but the @swradiogram.bsky.social birthday image of the week by @radioactiveal.bsky.social and the DX Headlines SSTV were successfully decoded.

Very good results for the digital text and images on this week's #MightyKBC via WRMI 5950 the other day. Bo Winberg of The Sponicks from @radioactiveal.bsky.social, plus an MFSK32 and 2 SSTV images from the DX Headlines segment.

From the #MightyKBC on WRMI 5950 @ 0200z: one MFSK64 image (Petula Clark!) from @radioactiveal.bsky.social, and one SSTV image from the Peter Johns DX segment with accompanying PSK63RC10 text, a mode I don't think I've seen before. It was error free despite the weak signal here in Alabama. #swl

What a difference 20 minutes makes! Tonight's #MightyKBC broadcast was gangbusters for a while. Right after the @radioactiveal.bsky.social birthday image of Joni Mitchell, the signal took a sharp nosedive and never recovered.
Frankly, the fact I got two SSTV triggers anyway was pretty wild.

The audio for this weekend's #MightyKBC was a bit too weak to enjoy the music again, but the @radioactiveal.bsky.social image of the week and the three duplicate DX Headlines SSTV images managed to decode, so that's something. From the AL gulf coast. Whatever SSTV mode was used first looked best.

Wrapping up the week in shortwave digital image decodes, the @radioactiveal.bsky.social image of the week on the #MightyKBC was John Prine, who I don't think I've ever heard before, despite knowing the name. The Peter Johns DX SSTV was even more ratty.

This week's #MightyKBC birthday image by @radioactiveal.bsky.social is Chubby Checker, who once got himself all in a twist (hah) over a phone app that used a man's shoe size to check the size of his… you know…
I think he wound up settling with HP for an undisclosed sum.

A difficult #MightyKBC this week due to interference from an adjacent signal on the dial. The @radioactiveal.bsky.social birthday image of Roger Waters from Pink Floyd made it through but it's pretty ratty. If there was a DX segment, I didn't hear enough of it to attempt decoding.

The @radioactiveal.bsky.social birthday image on the #MightyKBC is Wanda Young of the Marvelettes. I had a great signal but the trigger was garbled until I switched to USB mode. Later in the show there was a weird noise on LSB, too.

This week's @radioactiveal.bsky.social birthday image of the week on the #MightyKBC is Doris Coley of The Shirelles. We also have two SSTV images from the DX Headlines of what appear to be old cottages. For some reason, both images were slightly truncated.

Next up, from the 0100 UTC #MightyKBC broadcast via WRMI 5950, this week's @radioactiveal.bsky.social birthday boy is none other than Mick Jagger.
This was a difficult one to decode as the preamble was mostly gibberish and had to be played back numerous times until I found a sideband that worked.

This week's #MightyKBC was a bit too noisy to enjoy the music, but the @radioactiveal.bsky.social birthday image of the week and the Peter Johns DX SSTV still managed to decode. I can't quite make out the text on that transmitter room picture, but it looks cool, whatever it is.

This week's @radioactiveal.bsky.social #MightyKBC image of the week is the recently-passed Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys. Pretty ratty signal this week so the music was kind of lost in the noise, but amazingly the picture still triggered. From the WRMI 5950 0100z broadcast yesterday.
