oh hey Cecilia on mikkorone

I think this page is definitely a win from today's pack opening

PRECISO DA CARTA MIKKORONE

Whoa whoa whoa! Seeing Grant Kirkhope show up to support MikKorone is amazing~. I'm a huge fan of Banjo Kazooie, as well as video game music.

It was actually Grant retweeting a Japanese doggo Vtuber playing Banjo Kazooie that led me to discover Korone and Hololive. The rest is history~

Speaking of Mikkorone, my timing for visiting their shrine popup was apt, as the Mikkorone 24 event (24 hours straight of Hololive talents Inugami Korone and Sakura Miko streaming various activities together, featuring special guests from Hololive and elsewhere) has just begun as of ~3 hours ago.

Did I just watch two absolute goofballs goofing it up for (most of) the past 24 hours? Yes, yes I did. And how was your day?

two-tone pc is a staple in any multi-color deck so it would be really nice to have a stockpile of them

mikkorone 24 is coming down slightly from being a 15 dollar card that goes in nearly every deck though.

I bought NOTHING at the Mikkorone gift shop, despite waiting for my appointment to even lay eyes on the merch. They did have a few other things — a shrine book, some tapestries, and a free-size t-shirt that DEFINITELY wouldn’t fit me — but most of it was acrylic junk. Ah well! Still worth a look.

Went to the Mikkorone Shrine in Shibuya for my first shrine visit of the new year. Don’t think it really counts, but hey, it’s a Korone popup event, so who was I to say no? ;) Pretty cute setup, with yubi-shooter and fish-scooping minigames, fortunes, and an offering box with a recorded message.

They also had a recreation of the Mikkorone 24 streaming room set, which was kind of neat. The only thing that sucks is, the gift shop is ticketed — you have to make a reservation to even get in! What the hell is that?!

…I did it, though. Sigh! Waiting on my 4:00 time slot now.

I swear the amount of advertising for the Mikkorone 24 Returns events is kinda crazy. Imagine if Jerma promoted his Dollhouse stream in Times Square and even did a pop-up store to promote merch for the stream

need to pull as many mikorones as humanly possible next week so I can build a million decks without moving cards around.
