Yeah. Someone else pointed it out to me first, and then when I went back and actually checked the Mimicmon episode myself, it was definitely her.

They did, but she was a super minor character in one early episode. She was Hitomi's friend who went missing during the Mimicmon episode way back near the start.

I see where you're coming from. The Digimon spawn from the emotions of humans (the authorities call it a glitch), and it was stated that they are a mirror of their partners/born from the desires (like for Mimicmon), and this is also the reason why they need e-pulse to live. But hey-

Okay, *this* clicks. Having a Digimon who decides to "help" its human partner through clearly evil means is a strong conceit, and one which lines up well with how Digimon are portrayed in this setting. Mimicmon is a suitably creepy and warped presence in-turn also.

Shockingly little to comment on thus far. This episode isn't bad, but it feels very....plain, I guess? Much of it is just fighting Mimicmon, which might be fun, but it doesn't feel like there's much story to it.

the Cleaner and Digimon so far. Ryo and Cougarmon are pretty close second in that regard though, But only Mimicmon jacked up on 6 people's E-pulse could resist Paralyze echo, and it hasn't even gotten a boosting feeding of E-Pulse before The little girl with Shademon gave her some.

i would NOT call mimicmon episode a monster of the week one
it sets up two important things
- the main group doesnt agree with the agency but they cant fight back yet
- it hints to gekkomon being the only one who can eat Tomoro's e-pulse without drawbacks
