I also love Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders, a flawed but very interesting adventure with four playable protagonists. It has some sudden dead ends and frustrating mazes, but otherwise, it's sadly overlooked and underrated.

ihr wisst ich kann nie aufhören listen zu perfektionieren
(das zweite - gladiator - war das erste arcade game was ich je gespielt hab und außerdem hatte ich vergessen dass wir ne zeitlang nen gameboy mit tetris hatten

I’m gonna play devils advocate and say, I think FOMO is a good thing in games.
It creates unique experiences and special moments that can’t be replicated.
Do I regret not getting Mindbenders in its heyday? YES but it only lead to me playing the game more and seeing new equal or better alternatives

It's amazing how much they got out of the limited hardware of the C64. A twisted sense of humor, some ridiculous puzzles, and pretty decent graphics for the early 8-bit era. I don't think I ever actually finished it, though.
