#MindfulRunning
For a long time, I didn’t allow myself to walk during runs, switch my training days, or run shorter distances than than planned. But I've changed my ways.

Sometimes, it’s just smart to rest. 🧘‍♀️

I laughed when someone said running could be meditation.

I was in Rishikesh trying to sit still. It seemed ridiculous. Years later, I understood.

Has your body ever taught you something your mind resisted?

Not every run needs numbers.
Sometimes the best progress happens when you leave the watch at home.
Loved this from @RunningWell 🏃‍♀️

⌚️ Not every run needs a watch.

Try this:
🛑 Skip the tracking
🏃‍♀️ Run by feel
🌿 Notice your breath, your pace, your joy

No numbers. No pressure. Just presence.

Your body knows more than your watch does.

I used to run to conquer my body. Now I run like having a conversation with it.

My hamstring whispers, I slow down. My breath labors, I adjust pace.

How do you know when to push and when to listen to your body?

Something changes around kilometer three.

My thoughts get tired before my legs do. The mental noise fades, and what's left is just breath and footfalls.

Do you have a practice that quiets your mind this way?

In yoga, they teach breath shifts your nervous system from stress to ease.

I discovered it works while running. Two in, four out. That ratio changes everything.

Have you tried breath techniques during physical activity?
