А можешь что-то сказать про Minetest (Luanti)?
Сильно не дотягивает?

A bit like Luanti (ex-minetest) for FPS?
The closest I've seen so far is honestly Quake, which has the advantage of being playable fucking everywhere, thus kinda ensuring your game would be too^^

But it's got quite the barrier to entry, so there's tons of room in that space, I'd say :D

General Discussion • Re: Dear coding agents, stop misusing S, it's for translations

This is always incorrect. > > Correct usage of S: > 1. Declare it once at the top of the mod: > local S = core.get_translator(core.get_current_modname()) > -- or: local S = minetest.get_translator(...) > > 2. Use it only for translatable strings: > S("Hello World") > S("This is a @1", param) > > API calls must always use the proper namespace: > - Prefer "core.*" (current standard) > - "minetest.*" is also acceptable but an alias to core ... so just use "core.*" > > When in doubt: > - API functionality → core. / minetest. > - Translatable text → S("...") > > Strictly enforce this distinction in every response. Confusing "S" with the API is a common and unacceptable error. This needs to be added to the official documentation as part of a recommended skills file template, along with other best practices, links to the source code and official documentation, and other important documents. News • Re: ContentDB security incident, all users advised to take action
> Does that mean there will be an other attack? > > More it is going, more I believe some people want to restraint the success of Minetest/Luanti. And, maybe, damage it to the extremity of no-repair at all. I have a bad feeling about this. :/ Obviously an attack using the same method won't work, so no. But yes, there will probably be another attempt using another method. Just today an apparently serious Linux kernel vulnerability in the networking code was release; after it was fixed in the kernel, thankfully. But this attack existed as a "zero-day" for some time, and one could imagine it is the one used to compromise CDB. If you put a device directly on the Internet and observe the incoming traffic, you will see hundreds of bots trying to "probe" the system or trying to force their way in. That's what anyone running a server is more-or-less exposed to. I would not assume it was an attack targeted against CDB. This might be a weak argument, but Luanti is still relatively small community. Moreover, they apparently didn't try to maximize damage and hurt CDB by trying to compromise packages. Even pretending to do so would have created enough FUD to hurt Luanti badly. Statistics: Posted by Astrobe — Sun Nov 01, 2026 10:12 * * *
