..home which worked well, and rotated through easy-listening/ jazz, Electronica and soundtracks. I also recorded sounds and film dialogue onto minidiscs to help blend between different genres. Usually did 3 hour sets and tried to “read the room” for head-nodding and recognition. Hope this helps 🤔

I just picked up this JVC UX-A70MDR from eBay. The screen glows multiple colours, and slides up and down. The MD worked out of the box, but the CD couldn't read. I took it apart to clean it, turns out you have to half disassemble it to reach the laser to clean it. Worse than any laptop fan 😂

I think PDAs should come back in style and that phones should be minimalized to just telephones
The use of walkmans and minidiscs would be nice again too but I know some Teenage Engineering bullshit would just make those physical items expensive in this current market :/

If you can find someone that has the MZ-RH1 www.minidisc.wiki/equipment/so... you will be able to pull the digital recordings direct off the discs, rather than needing to record from audio out. I used to have one, they were great.

I used to have a tape deck and used one of those plug-in cassette devices to play my CDs, and later minidiscs (!), in the car. (As you can probably tell, I haven’t owned a car in 20 years…)
