Have you drunk water?

Did you eat?

Did you take your medicine?

Have you stepped outside today?

(I’m about to do that now before the heat comes. Ain’t nobody got time for 95° + humidity!)

Minnesotans love our lakes. Native aquatic plants clean water, protect shorelines, support fish & wildlife, & sustain wild rice. When we remove them, invasive species move in. These waters belong to all of us. 💧🌾

Many Minnesotans don’t value aquatic plants. The state’s lakes are paying a price.
Native aquatic plants help keep lakes healthy, reduce erosion and are a safeguard against invasive species. Yet they get a bad rap as a nuisance, and property owners often remove them with chemicals or machines.
