I realized that the Hallyu content I see mostly shows a polished and idealized version of Korea through k-pop and
k-dramas. Because we do that see, many deeper issues especially misogyny and women’s safety that I think were not visible to me before.

Now if it’s how Korean law punishes those kind of crimes when it’s a public case, I can not imagine how unfair it must be for the victims that get no recognition and have to fight without public’s support. All my thoughts go to those women who bravely fight everyday. #misogynyinKorea
