The new poster for #LeeJongsuk and #MoonGayoung’s drama is giving major #DiaryofaProsecutor and #MissHammurabi vibes which are two of my fave legal dramas. The cast looks solid too, so I might have to check out #LawandtheCity. #KangYouseok

Fun with ties. The girl who ties it gets to pull it. Those are the rules. 😘 #cdrama #kdrama

#LeeYooYoung has received an offer to lead upcoming tvN kdrama #ProBono, along with #JungKyungHo.

Written by Moon Yoo-seok, a former judge known for penning #MissHammurabi and #TheDevilJudge. The project will be helmed by Director Kim Sung-yoon (Love in the Moonlight).

i'm finally watching #MissHammurabi (it's written by the same writer behind #TheDevilJudge) - this one is a straightforward courtroom drama, and so far it's DELIGHTFUL

Other notable works include #MissHammurabi, #Haechi, #Black, #TheScandalOfChunhwa, #YouReAllSurrounded, #TheChilde and #PhantomDetective.

1) there's a guest character named kang yo han - a charismatic politician who always wins & wants to erase a photograph from his past - and, while it's not a crossover, the inspiration is fascinating #MissHammurabi

During the late 2010s she appeared in several popular kdramas such as, #FightForMyWay, #MissHammurabi, #TheLastEmpress and #ChiefOfStaff.

These projects showcased her ability to portray both antagonistic and loveable characters, increasing her visibility among domestic and international audiences.

…officially less than a week to go - might actually finish this 😆.

Day 14 - Miss Hammurabi
#kdrama #kdramachallenge #MissHammurabi

7) the ongoing themes/topics of debate between the two main characters include: whether humans are essentially good or evil, whether law equals justice, and whether the system is too broken to work (i've recognized a few lines already that were 100% later used in #TheDevilJudge)
#MissHammurabi

6) in ep 11, our intrepid protagonist is investigating a case of a motorcycle "gang" of angelic-looking teenage drug addicts (srsly they all look like kpop idols) annnnd this might be the most sympathetic take on drug abuse i've seen in korean media?!? #MissHammurabi

5) the protagonist lives with her grandma whose house is basically golden girls: seoul, and i love them SO MUCH (they read steamy web novels together and curse cliffhangers during sex scenes, we need to be friends) #MissHammurabi

4) there's an early scene in which the male lead scolds another character for saying something homophobic, and frankly (despite a certain case ending in #TheDevilJudge) i wouldn't expect anything less #MissHammurabi

3) the courtroom drama is SO SPOT ON, some of the anecdotes have got to been plucked from reality (the screenwriter used to work in the judicial system, and i wonder how many of the featured cases and real courtroom politics came out of personal experience) #MissHammurabi

2) the two associate judges are both sort of reminiscent of kim ga on, with the lead female character being a much clearer "ancestor" #MissHammurabi
