#MissMazie had a rough first day with her recovery but she is doing much better today. She was quite underweight when we adopted her and in the 2 weeks since she has been with us, she hadn’t gained quite enough weight back to rebound as quickly as I anticipated, but today is a brand new day! 🌞

Sometimes we make plans, but the Universe has other plans. Mazie was such a perfect fit for dear friends (and them for her), that we needed to allow it to happen! Here she is with her new BFF, Hardy.

We lost two beloved dogs within 6 mos of each other, and recently opened our hearts to two new family members. Cora #Coradorable (our rescued Rez Dog) just loves Gemma #TheOtter (Humane Society adoptee) and Mazie #MissMazie (Retired Breeding Dog). It warms my heart to see Cora enjoy her new pack.

Her first three years she was chained to a dog house at a wild boar hunting ranch; and her second three years she was a breeding dog. No more work for this sweet girl! The rest of her life, she gets to be free, cherished, and loved and that’s all! #LuvYerPup #TheMarvelousMissMazie
