#Mobilelibraries date to the 1850s. The #PackHorseLibrary initiative was part of FDR’s WorksProgressAdministration #WPA; almost all were women. Both undertakings aimed to deliver books to rural areas where no library existed.

They are some of the best places, but our mobile one works out the back of a transit van currently. I still order and borrow books every 3 weeks. It's vital to keep the service running! #mobilelibraries
