This image compares two pyramids. On the left is a familiar food pyramid, structured from bottom to top by recommended consumption levels: vegetables, legumes, grains, and water form the base, followed by fruit, dairy, proteins, and finally sweets and processed foods at the top. On the right is a "mobility pyramid" inspired by the same logic. At the base are active and light-impact travel options—walking, cycling, scootering, along with kayaking and windsailing to add a light-hearted touch. The middle tiers include public and shared transport such as buses, trams, and trains. The top layer features higher-impact modes like cars, boats, and planes. This pyramid is a conversation tool to explore what kinds of mobility we want more of in our area and how we can support healthier, more sustainable ways of getting around.
