Not really a helpful observation but I've never had a problem with Modiphus bar one pre-order that arrives about three later than promised.

STA2E was written with the intent of smoothing out the rough edges of 1E. It's easier to find info and, IMHO, a vast improvement. @Modiphus is releasing free 1e to 2e documents for the 1e books. I was easily able to convert 1e Adventures to 2e.

D&D got cancelled due to one player having a veterinary emergency, so the rest of us played the Modiphus Skyrim board game, and it's phemomenal. Had a great time even though we missed our proper game.

Oh yeah, more people should play Twilight: 2000. I wish there was an update of the GDW system for modern equipment (tried myself, with inspiration from Metal Gear Solid, SCP, and STALKER) but the Modiphus version is out there.

one thing I do appreciate about the modiphus RPG is how it structures each adventure and character along the lines of an episodic TV show, with every player having additional supporting cast characters they can switch to whenever one is a better match for the problems of the episode

I'm thinking of making my own powered-by-the-apocalypse star trek RPG, since as much as I enjoy the modiphus star trek adventures RPG, it's a bit too technical to easily onboard new players who've never played TTRPGs before, and I think a PBTA style system would make a perfect fit for star trek

As I’ve mentioned previously, as a heavy GURPS fan I hold an unreasonable grudge against Fallout for the way they dumped SJG mid-development. (Mind, I suspect in retrospect that SJG shoulders a good chunk of the reason as well…)

Don't worry about that. I've got three main books; the wheel of time RPG, Pathfinder core and an RPG called Exodus that was supposed to be Fallout before modiphus took it.
