If you plant it, they will come.

I’ve seen a couple monarchs in my prairie #garden recently and this one stayed for a long time today.

For me, this is the only Monarchy that matters. These butterflies are on the decline. My photo dates from prior to the noticeable reduction in their numbers, when I would see them by the hundreds before they migrated. Happy Sunday morning, Bluesky. #butterflies #Monarchbutterly #butterflyphotos

“Monarch”

Most of the work I post will be abstract or impressionistic. But every now and then I’m able to come up with something with more realism. I’m usually not good at that type of style. Done with oil paints!
