‘Tis the season again - some of the first blooms survived the heavy rain!

#MondayRoses - I just love this rose. It’s a replacement for a very old bush that eventually gave up flowering & this is the first year the new one has had so many blooms - nearly 10 this summer (perhaps helped by being in a slightly shady spot). #GardenFlowers

#GardenFlowers confession: B put this together, not me. In my defence these roses were growing so high up over a shed roof I couldn’t even see them. So useful having a tall person around. #MondayRoses

#GardenFlowers I was so delighted by these nodding grasses (grown by accident - I emptied all my old unlabelled seed packets into pots & had a lucky dip of germinators) that they prompted me to try a perpetual arrangement. And my new oranges & lemons rose finally flowered! Happy autumn #MondayRoses

#MondayRoses it’s just buckets & buckets of reds & these fun “sculptural” pinks who’ve made twisted shapes to try to reach the light climbing in an archway (and had to be trimmed because of wind/rain damage). #MrHat cameo. #GardenFlowers
