The anglar granite ruins of a medieval chapel rise from weathered granite masses. Local traditions include a monk with leprosy tended by his daughter and the cursed Jan Tregeagle who was chased here by hell-hounds after he tired of emptying Dozmary Pool with a limpet shell.
