Here's a first iteration of processing the Jellyfish Nebula in SHO. This was acquired from our 250mmFL scope using a 6200mm mono camera with 3nm Sii,Ha,Oiii filters and processed in PixInsight. Including a representation with stars and without stars to show the nebulosity. #astrophotography 🔭

I just processed this photo of the Monkey Head Nebula #NGC2174. It took over a month to gather enough usable data due to clouds and a very bright moon. I think I deleted more subframes than actually got used!

Monkeyhead Nebula: Uhm. So. This colour? Is super pretty. I love the various hues of blue in the ink, with the subtle pink. And the bronze-coloured glitter compliments it so nice!
Sunspot: I'm weirdly fond of this colour? I'm not much for browns but smth about this one feels perfect for sketching
