Monmouth County officials described large infrastructure commitments (a recently secured $200 million project for the Oceanic Bridge and other multi-million-dollar bridge projects) and said privatizing certain care centers and landfill management produced significant budget relief, including roughly $30 million from facility sales and a $6 million first-year landfill savings.
