I was poking through the English translation after finishing too, and it has a cute mistake that made me smile. The main character asks the villain whether they're the 黒幕 (literally "black curtain", but means someone pulling the strings), and the translation seemed to think it was a name.

Cute little game! Very short and very easy, but I think that's the point, and it's a nice bitesize on rails SRPG experience for those who might be reluctant to dip into more hardcore offerings in the genre.

Also, I need to stop buying SNES games. This was the last one I bought before I started saving money for surgery, and I think it was fortunate timing because I needed an intervention. They are so beautiful, but they are so hueg.

Ran across a "Family Partner 32," which sounds somewhat suggestive, but it's something even sexier than what I imagined: a SNES copier! As in, you can copy your Super Famicom cartridges into floppy disks. Wonder how many ROMs still in circulation came from these things. buyee.jp/mercari/item...

Jumped in feet first knowing so little, ended up banging my head against technically-complex (for a beginner) games. Produced a *really awful* English version of Rockman 2 which I'm still completely ashamed of, but it was a start.
Then Monstania (which needs redoing), Chaos World (same), and so on.
