Bought at the brewery last week in Montmorillon town....this Spring beer confirms my usual dislike of this genre....fruity but in a vegetal floral way. Looking forward to trying their barrel aged range tho!

Sorry for bouncing around Breweries but I am behind my tasting! This is a gorgeous soured blonde with 18mths aging in oak barrels. Very reminiscent of Cantillon's beers in Brussels. Very low carbonation, more like an oaked wine. Montmorillon you have surprised me! Fabulous!

Sorry for bouncing around Breweries but I am behind my tasting! This is a gorgeous soured blonde with 18mths aging in oak barrels. Very reminiscent of Cantillon's beers in Brussels. Very low carbonation, more like an oaked wine. Montmorillon you have surprised me! Fabulous!
