I was trying to think of another musician who was as universally loved for their music as Dolly. Can’t think of anyone, mainly because music is so subjective.

Watching old clips of Morcambe and Wise when I should be streaming but really, they don't make comedians like that anymore. What an unbelievable talent those two were.

Maintain that Les was a hugely underrated comedian ahead of his time, equally surreal and sarcastic. Eric Morcambe gets all the flowers but Les' piano bit is still insanely good.

Mancs weekend destination of choice is north Wales. Phwelli, Abersoch, Conway, Llyn etc. Can't see Blackpool or Morcambe being in a position to compete even though they are closer. Forest of Bowland has more appeal.
