Okay! Time to get to it! 🤓

1st up in my #MostBondMoviesAreBad watchlist is my personal favorite, #CasinoRoyale.

Of course, we already broke down the 1st scene on #BlueSky: bsky.app/profile/iamk...

I've started at the #iconic opening theme.

Oh, snap, I always forget to do this, but our #letterboxd audience is quite petite, so I should…

There’s obv a reason I’m watching #CasinoRoyale over & over and it’s bc #MostBondMoviesAreBad: medium.com/cinemania/ho...

i.e. I’m #writing about #BondFilms 🤓

MiB, Casino Royale, Prey, Casino Royale… I’m working on a Bond series on Cinemania.

I think it's funny that my #BlueSky banners are just whatever I'm working on, bc people often mistake me for a fan.

I can't wait for someone to ask me if I love #JamesBond, bc I do NOT, and I'm working on a series on #Cinemania called #MostBondMoviesAreBad, #lol. medium.com/cinemania/ho...

Makes for a pretty good banner, I think, which is good, because it's going to be a couple weeks that I'll be at these Bond movies, I reckon. Blech. Why did I do this? *I* pitched this series idea *to* Gaby, the editor. Totally my doing, and I know that I do not care for these films, lol. At least I can cross them off my Letterboxd never-seen list. BLECH! Oh, Casino Royale is incredible, though, and we're starting with that. Go find my pinned tweet, and that'll be that LiveSky review.

Some gorgeous #boat porn kicks us off today.

Nice! Clearly filmed on location somewhere. The next shot, though, when the lady is coming in to see Le Chiffre, she's obviously comped against, like, a tropical background from a travel agency ad, lol. These movies are weirdly cheap, at times, and weirdly extravagant at others. Very British.

#CasinoRoyale #funfact: #ParadiseIsland in the #Bahamas is totally a real place.

Funner fact: it used to be knows as #HogIsland 😆

I hope you guys are always reading the #alttext! That's honestly, like, 2/3 of the copy I write for these 😅

Ah, there we go. This is Bond. Exotic locales, world travel, jet-setting, international 'spy' stuff. I'd argue that, whatever Bond is, he's NOT a spy. He's, like, the opposite of a spy, if anything. He introduces himself by name. Famously! It's like what he's most known for, lol. Ah, good. I was wondering how many hectares, and it's 277. That's important. Can't neglect the hectares.
