Chickweed Geometer, but make it fashion! 💄

This moth struts garden runways with hot pink “lipstick” stripes, and its caterpillars love actual chickweed.
Iconic snacker, iconic style.

Who wore it best—moth or garden? 🌸🦋

Hadn't seen a Chickweed Geometer in awhile and said so out loud as I approached the front door ... and hey presto! This one comes with extra lipstick.

Pale orange moth with vivid pink stripes -- two quite thick and a third, between them, quite thin -- sits on crabgrass. He has two pink eyespots above the topmost pink stripe and the overall effect is that he looks quite happy to see the photographer.
