Billie Jean | Micheal Jackson

MJ’s #BillieJean was an immediate hit upon release- from #Thriller.

Billie Jean became iconic after #MichaelJackson’s live performance at #Motown25 where he debuted the moon walk & other dance moves.

“Right after Motown25, my family read a lot in the press saying that I was the “New Sinatra” this kind of thing. It was even nice to hear, but I knew that the press could be very fickle. One week they adore you, the next they treat you like garbage”
~ Michael Jackson in his book “moonwalker”

Removing videos of BTS performing at the Grammys is not just petty, it is stupid. The 2022 performance of Butter isn’t just a moneymaker because it is BTS, it is because they literally performed astonishing magic acts. They created wonder & spectacle, not unlike MJ’s first ever Moonwalk at Motown25.

#MichaelJackson vs. “Michael” (#Motown25)

That ain’t NOTHING but GOD…
YOU know what else sucks?
Everybody outside of the Jackson family judging Jackson decisions…
Family at the end of the day, AND they still strong in 2026 despite their differences.
It shows in the moment & NEVER in the art.

GOD is of the moment.
