💥Announcement! Sunday 13.04.2025💥 🕯 Queer mourning café in April 2025 🕯 Sunday, 13.04.2025 | 02:00 pm | Cafe Cralle Hochstädter Straße 10a 13347 Berlin Arrival: U9 Nauener Platz | Bus 247, 327 Maxstraße 📣 Call: https://asanb.noblogs.org/?p=11045 - @queeres.trauercafe.berlin #b1304 #mourning cafe ⏳The next meeting will take place on Sunday, 13 April 2025, at 14:00-16:00 at Café Cralle (Hochstädter Str. 10A, 13347 Berlin). 🍂 The Queer Bereavement Café is a self-help group that takes place once a month and is aimed at people whose gender identity and sexual orientation lie outside the cisgender and heterosexual norm. Trans, inter, non-binary as well as lesbian, gay, bisexual, aromantic, pansexual and asexual people are welcome to attend. 🥀 The bereavement café offers a place to deal with your own experiences of grief and ways of saying goodbye to a deceased person in a group. Here, stories about the deceased person(s) can be told, feelings shared and questions asked. 📨Organisational matters: Regular attendance at the meetings is not necessary in order to participate. You can join at any time. For planning purposes, however, it is important that you register in advance by emailing queerestrauercafe@posteo.de. Please do a corona test in advance and come to the event without cold symptoms. We will also have a few tests on site. Please note that the grief café is a support group and is not therapeutically guided. 🍃The grief café is organised by Junis (he; they). After Junis accompanied two family members as they were dying, he started looking for non-denominational bereavement cafés where people could talk about their experiences of grief and loss. 📍Unfortunately, the café is not completely barrier-free. The café has a mobile ramp. But there are no wheelchair-accessible toilets. There are grab rails on the wall in the toilets that can make it easier to stand up. The nearest public wheelchair-accessible toilet is approx. 300 metres away on Maxplatz.

That’s why we’d like to invite you all to our Mourning Café on 28 July, where we can come together to grieve, to remember, to process our feelings, to talk and make sense of this event, or simply to not be alone – to be together. Because we are not alone; we are a large movement that sticks together and comes together. So please do come along! 🏳️‍🌈🕯
