Zaterdag zond Canvas nog Mr. Klein (met Alain Delon) uit. Reminder dat die film een aardig creepy soundtrack heeft door Egisto Macchi. #mrklein #egistomacchi www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIty...

SYNOPSIS: Paris, 1942. Successful art dealer Robert Klein benefits from the misfortunes of those who are ruthlessly persecuted. He discovers by chance that there is another Robert Klein, apparently a Jew; someone with whom he could be mistakenly identified in such harsh times.

I'd imagine the ambiguous resolution of the film's central predicament might not be everyone's cup of tea but that's really not why I found #MrKlein more interesting & appealing visually than ultimately storywise, even if the subject matter is still important. #MonsieurKlein 📽️🎞️
