The airstrikes reportedly took place because the tribe (Saudi-allied) complained about them being used as cannon fodder by the PLC.

In these hours, AnsarAllah strikes targeted the Al-Wadiah border crossing with Saudi Arabia, while Yemeni forces advanced eastward from the Hifaan front and westward from Jardad Mountain toward Al-Turbah to sever the primary supply route connecting Taiz and Aden. Simultaneously, AnsarAllah forces launched an offensive toward Marib, capturing multiple northern positions including Jabal an Nuddar, Jabal Labinah, and the Labinah camps. However, Saudi proxy PLC forces successfully repelled northern AnsarAllah advances into Marib and initiated a counter-offensive southwest of Asdas toward the Mas military camp, triggering active engagements. Further south, severe clashes broke out between AnsarAllah and the Saudi proxy PLC's Giants Brigades in the al-Mudarabah area of the Lahij region along the Aden axis, alongside active back-and-forth pushes across all three fronts in Ta'izz. Additionally, three Southern Transitional Council military personnel were shot and killed in Ad Dali by forces retreating from Mokha in southwestern Yemen.
