Last evening meal of the trip was chicken tenders ( which were huge ) and chips at the Beach Hotel, Mullaghmore.
Chicken tenders and chips, both in separate dishes. There us a small pot of dipping sauce to one side.

47 years ago, Lord Louis Mountbatten, the uncle of Prince Phillip, was assassinated by an IRA bomb while on a family fishing trip near Mullaghmore. Also killed in the explosion were two of his grandchildren and his daughter's mother-in-law. A British Army convoy was also attacked with 18 dead.
