I'm the guy who wrote nearly 4 million words worth of MLP fanfiction, and millions more in the furry spectrum as a whole.
My most recent series has been over 100,000 words this year alone (spread across 3 multichapter stories), centered solely around artificial insemination instead of actual sex.

Happy to! I totally get it. The advantages of not writing ships that aren't as popular as fanfiction is if people want to look for it it's much easier to find - another thing is that if you're doing a multichapter / multiwork story, I'd recommend releasing it one at a time bc that moves the date

My current plan is that I want to finish up Perfectly Normal Girl before starting up any multichapter fics.
If a one-shot grabs my attention I'll go for that, but I don't want to add another active ongoing fic alongside the Sister Bed series and Perfectly Normal Girl 😅

been working on trying to revise an old fic from last year—held in orbit, a 5+1 multichapter fic about elenion's postgame growth. i'm not sure anyone will be interested. but rereading this thing made me realize i'm kinda proud of it. i love all the stupid banter i write for my favorite dorks. 💙💜

Oof, that happened to me once. There was a Reylo ‘one shot’ I mistakenly thought was 10k words…it was way more and turned out to be a multichapter the author had deleted and then reposted but didn’t feel like doing the chapters separately. After the 2nd time it reloaded on me I started making notes.
