In addition to this being a wholly disingenuous answer, it a good reminder not to ask multifarious questions at press conferences. When you ask a Republican politician a multi-part question, they will in all likelihood only answer the one part they want to address.
Johnson: “They’ve acknowledged that there was an error, and they’re correcting it. And I would’ve asked the same thing of the Biden Administration. I don’t think anyone should’ve lost their job over that because an errant number found its way onto a dialogue between leaders.”

Here’s a slightly longer version of my thinking on the social media verdicts. The trouble I see is that the problems with social media are so multifarious. Addictive design is part of the story, but there are so many more pathologies and harms. 🧵
TLDR: something will happen, IMO likely not as bad as libertarians fear but not nearly as good as progressives hope, with disparate distributive consequences.
