As a kid, I had Measles (but not German Measles) and Mumps, but not Rubella. The MMR vaccine didn't exist at that time. I'm ridiculously well vaxxed now (sorry, RFK, Jr.) so I've had two Shingles shots and also now a booster MMR. And, yeah, 65+ flu and the newest Covid too.
As a kid, I had Measles (but not German Measles) and Mumps, but not Rubella. The MMR vaccine didn't exist at that time. I'm ridiculously well vaxxed now (sorry, RFK, Jr.) so I've had two Shingles shots and also now a booster MMR. And, yeah, 65+ flu and the newest Covid too.

I'm 67 years old. I got an MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) booster a few months ago. I was vaccinated for it in the 1960's. I'm not taking any chances with these clowns. Nope.

Those of us who got measles, mumps and rubella as kids might have immunity but can still remember the illness. Not recommended. Can also rember kids with lasting damage from measles. Vaccination works.

Vaccines don’t cause autism. But vaccines can help prevent it. This study found an increase in autism rates among babies born with rubella, who were infected by their moms during pregnancy. Vaccinating against rubella with the MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, rubella) prevents infection.

Vaccines don’t cause autism. But vaccines can help prevent it. This study found an increase in autism rates among babies born with rubella, who were infected by their moms during pregnancy. Vaccinating against rubella with the MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, rubella) prevents infection.
I caught the measles and the mumps as a small child. I’m in my fifties now and I still remember how sick I was. Vaccinations are so, so important.

But I had the mumps so badly that my mother (who was from farm country and didn't call the doctor for much of anything) actually called the doc out to our house in a blizzard.
I had strep along with mumps. Really sick. I was 9. Vaccinate!
