Rewatching Murderbot … forgot how much I loved this the first time I watched it 🤩
Book 200 📚 for 2026. Wrapped up the series (or did I?) as our bot M uses one of its favorite quirks to perhaps its best use, getting its humans out of danger. I would definitely rec this whole series, and willing to take your recs under advisement! Available everywhere, including your #LocalLibrary.

I love Murderbot so much.
The ones I had in my head were Claire North’s Slow Gods, Murderbot, and Tamysn Muir’s “the Ninth” series.
But what does set Carl apart is that he’s just some generic Reddit-flavored asshole on regular Earth that got apocalypsed by rich aliens who are very thinly veiled stand-ins.

I dreamed I was a corporate character in the TMBD universe & the PresAux team wanted to... hire me? Or something? So we were all in a conference room, talking, & Gurathin was doing his nails. He had those electric files/polishers that make noise. Murderbot shot him SO many glares. 😂

Wings of Fire was The Series for my kid too! He has read the whole series at least twice. He is much older now, and the second series that he loved and has read more than once is the Murderbot Diaries.

I also love The Yellow Wallpaper. I'm currently listening to an audiobook called Unwell Women by Elinor Cleghorn about the history of women's healthcare. It is both interesting and rage-inducing.
