Lovely weather for "Fête de la Musique" this year - a very pleasant open air concert with plenty of spectators. #Music #Harmonie #MusiqueMunicipaleMasevaux

Spring concert: "Contes et Légendes". Happy I was able to participate after recent health problems, even if it involved a certain amount of bluffing! 😄 #MusiqueMunicipaleMasevaux #WindOrchestra #Harmonie #AmateurMusic

Final wind orchestra rehearsal before the first of 3 Nov/Dec concerts - I still can't play the Berlioz, but I do a good job of faking it. 🙄 Definitely some shaky moments, so fingers crossed for Sunday! #Orchestra #Harmonie #MusiqueMunicipaleMasevaux

Our last concert of 2024 was on 21 December (unusually late), and we kicked off 2025 with 2 weekends of "café-concerts" in January - songs, sketches and instrumental numbers in a bistrot setting. A fun fundraiser! #Music #Harmonie #MusiqueMunicipaleMasevaux

First on-stage rehearsal for upcoming operetta yesterday. Lots of standing around in the cold, but managed 2 numbers (accurately!) by heart before crashing and burning in the last one.🙄 #AmateurMusic #MusiqueMunicipaleMasevaux #LesClochesDeCorneville

The dress rehearsal was (mostly) OK, with less hiccups than feared. (Two soloists drying up mid-song doesn't really count?) Opening night tomorrow, so too late to do anything more! #LesClochesDeCorneville #MusiqueMunicipaleMasevaux #AmateurMusic #ComicOpera

Ensemble vocale had a rubbish dress rehearsal, but we nailed it at the concert! #AmateurMusic #Choir #Harmonie #MusiqueMunicipaleMasevaux

Concert 2/3 done and dusted. (Liberation Sunday is a loooong day for us.) 2 main pieces: Danzón No. 2 went very well; Secret of the White Rose was a bit shaky, but we held it together. Feet and back are killing me, but it was worth it! #Music #Harmonie #MusiqueMunicipaleMasevaux

Here we go! Spring concert is on the loose theme of jazz and its influence, and choir kicked off rehearsing this evening. #AmateurMusic #MusiqueMunicipaleMasevaux

A stage bailiff's wig in desperate need of serious tlc. #Opérette #LesClochesDeCorneville #MusiqueMunicipaleMasevaux

First operetta rehearsal with chorus, soloists and orchestra all together - some spectacular crashes, but lots of fun! Rehearsing on stage next week. ☺️ #AmateurMusic #LesClochesDeCorneville #MusiqueMunicipaleMasevaux
