I’d probably say Wesker. Granted, I’m terrible at fighting games and can only dream of doing his cool combos, but his awesome aura in MVC3 is just simply unmatched! Just wish I was better at the character himself 😅

I’d probably say Wesker. Granted, I’m terrible at fighting games and can only dream of doing his cool combos, but his awesome aura in MVC3 is just simply unmatched! Just wish I was better at the character himself 😅

playing mvc3 has ruined my perception of Zero’s fighting in game and fics, when a fic has Zero fight X for training, I can only picture X getting knocked out by a lightning loop

this other cut is great, too! from the way Blueno air-dashes in like MvC3 Magneto, to the perfect timing on his double-air kicks, to the cutaways during the circular kick move that give context without interrupting the flow of the attack... Naoki Tate on the top of his game.

I was always a SF kid but I only ever got to play spinoffs like SF EX or the Alpha games. When Super SF4 came out, Juri got me to lock in and I ended up staying for Rose. MvC3 was sick but my execution just couldn't take me too far 😭

SF6 isn't my favorite fighter (that's Killer Instinct), but it was the first one to get me over some of my longstanding bias against the genre. I thought all fighters were as hard to play as BlazBlue and MvC3 up till then.

p sure mvc3 just got rollback alongside arcana hearts the other day, y arent they yippying and jumping that they can play wright online (like twice before never touching the game again)

One clear as day memory for me is being in a gamestop in 2011 when I was going to pick up MVC3 and a little kid was playing it at a demo station and went "I wanna pick batman" and picked Viewtiful Joe. I hope that dude who's prob a grown ass man now is doing well lmao.
