#AMerryRoyalChristmas is totally enjoyable. #PrimeVideo came through with this #Christmas film. 💐
Like, #HolidayForHire on PV didn't all the way click for me. And #MyChristmasFiance on Hulu frustrated me as the script / director wasted the leads good chem. But this #movie? 👍👍 #romcom #moviesky

Adding #MyChristmasFiancé to the list of #Christmas #movies to watch this year. Discovered this one while browsing the #Hulu offerings. 🎄💍 (Jennifer Freeman stars in this film, so yay for #BlackGirlMagic)

Asshole Prince Eric likes American Girl's food, but still takes digs at her. He has probably read The Game, or whatever the British version of The Game is. Also, holy shit: her dad is STILL ALIVE!! Why did she say "hi" to his picture so wistfully??

Okay: last year I famously became ENAMORED with Denise Richards' performance in #AChristmasFrequency, but her latest made-for-TV Christmas movie has an awe-inspiring 4.5 stars on IMDb, and I think she has a smaller part in this one. So I will be ushering in 2025 by #Flansmas-ing #MyChristmasFiancé!

I liked most of #MyChristmasFiance but it needs more #romance in it overall.
The leads have really good chem but the #movie doesn't do much to capitalize on #romance... instead focusing on the drama of saving the restaurant. A choice. #Christmas #Hulu #romcom #holidayseason #moviesky #Hallmarkies

This ASP bitch just threatened to replace American Girl's dad's restaurant with robots WHAT? American Girl tells Asshole Prince Eric, who insults her dad's restaurant, yells at her, delivers a monologue, and then tells her she can leave if she wants, cause their deal is over. #MyChristmasFiancé

Oh, also, American Girl learned something important from the hotel desk guy she's friends with, but I genuinely could not tell you what it was, because I could not understand his accent. How did I watch all of White Lotus S2 with no difficulty, but this is fucking me up? #Flansmas #MyChristmasFiancé

This Italian biker dude starts talking to her like he is a wise Santa Claus-esque figure and tells her an anecdote about how pizza was originally made THIS MOVIE IS BONKERS. But American Girl is motivated to SAVE THE RESTAURANT HERSELF! OKAY, BITCH; GET IT! #Flansmas #MyChristmasFiancé

Asshole Prince Eric is being really mean to everyone and throwing plates and shit. This movie feels like a cross between "Emily in Paris and "The Bear," neither of which I have ever seen. (Do NOT give me a hard time about never having seen "The Bear;" I swear to God.)

American Girl goes "UMMM, my mother died when I was six of BREAST CANCER." It is verrrrry uncomfortable 😬 It's reminiscent of the breast cancer line in The Room. Anyway, I knew she had a dead *parent*, even if I was wrong about which one I AM STILL UNDEFEATED!!

The restaurant wins the Diamond Fork award, and American Girl IMMEDIATELY goes to leave Italy THAT NIGHT. But first she visits biker-looking dude. In the weirdest scene ever, she goes "We won the Diamond Fork!" and he goes "I know" and she goes "...oh" IT IS SO WEIRD! #Flansmas #MyChristmasFiancé

American Girl yells a monologue at HIM. EVERYONE is giving monologues in different accents. Then Denise Richards starts talking to American Girl like she knows her WHAT IS HAPPENING?? She's like "Asshole Prince Eric told me you're getting married!" BITCH, WHO EVEN *ARE* YOU?!? #MyChristmasFiancé

Asshole Prince Eric and American Girl leave early to go meet his parents. She's dressed all hot, but is still on Valium. Oh, shit: the woman he's supposed to marry is SUPER hot. He should def marry her. I am Team Other Woman. He calls her The Snake because her initials are ASP. #MyChristmasFiancé

Her chef-boss is an asshole British dude who looks like if Prince Eric were a dick. This movie is already doing TOO MUCH with cinematography. Lots of porn-y slow motion shots of food being prepared. I would rather see porn-y slow motion shots of Denise Richards, who is still hot. #MyChristmasFiancé

Yea, the Denise Richards role did not make sense. Not offensive but more of a "why tho?" scenario cause she just seemed needlessly inserted in to the movie. 🤷♀️ #MyChristmasFiance #movie #Christmas #romcom #CountdowntoChristmas #holidayseason #hulu #moviesky

(Not sure why Denise Richards is in this movie atp. Guessing there will be some payoff re: her character)

Not the unsubtle racism from this Becky that Penn doesn't want cause of his "engagement" to Maya. His parents ain't shit either. 🚮
Anywho, the leads have very good chem yet the #movie is half over & I feel not much has happened. Need them to have A MOMENT. #MyChristmasFiance #romance #Christmas
