Another missed opportunity. The relationship between Hua Yong/Shaoyou should have been dark, sexy and ruinous. I was expecting something in the vein of Joe/Ming from #MyStandIn or Louis/Lestat from #InterviewWithTheVampire. Instead they were bafflingly domestic.

There was also reincarnation (sort of), prostitution, telenovela fuckery and a questionable blind shaman who had an iPhone 15. #MyStandIn was a fun time and Ming is the absolute worst.
