I grafted another tiny Copiapoa seedling onto a larger Myrtillo cactus, while another is growing on a smaller rootstock. The question is: will the bigger root system speed up growth?

Here's another find that has sprung out since yesterday morning.💞It's a myrtillocactus budding out like crazy. Unfortunately rodents can get in there despite the wire and will eat the buds before they bloom in a pretty little white star-shaped flower. Hoping they ignore it.
Myrtillocactus a green columnar with two big arms and a couple small ones. Covered in sweet little buds more than I've ever had that will open to a star-shaped white flower. Tiny green buds popping out of a green columnar Myrtillocactus. Unfortunately, these are delicacy for the many rodents that live in the Sonoran desert and even though I put wire around this guy last year, they stripped it before the flowers came out. Hoping for better this year. Tiny green buds on a green montello columnar cactus that will open into star-shaped small white blooms if the rodents don't eat them. There was one large arm on this cactus that is causing it to tilt so after the bloom is over I will cut that and plant it separately for better weight distribution. It's a green columnar myrtillo cactus with tiny buds that will bloom into white flowers if the rodents don't get them.

I accidentally knocked a tiny pup off my myrtillo stacker while moving plants way too late at night, and this grandi hybrid was all I had. I thought it was too small (the big pup is about the size of a pea). Figured I'd rubber band the bottom of the pup next to it for extra puppage, and 5 days later it looks like the union is solid and the larger pup is plumping.
