I hear you! I just want to make sure you're fully aware of the implications of doing that and/or how to do it. Here's two things you can do:

1. Go to a TSLA protest and bring others.

2. Talk to an advisor about your goals RE:TSLA. If you don't have one, check NAPFA and XY for fee-only fiduciaries

I'm off to the NAPFA Conference in DC next week. I have to admit, I hadn't really anticipated that I'd be traveling to an occupied city. I'm packing my passport, of course, but what else will I need?

Not unrelated: I just found out that Canada has the equivalent of the UK's Global Talent Visa. Hmm.

Me 3 and I actually have an ass 😔 The situps I was able to do between napfa and now is so sad... Core loss + weight gain catches up to you so fast 💀
I'll only do them on the benches in gyms or a folded yoga mat

On my way to the NAPFA Conference in DC, flying out to Logan (the train almost but not quite worked): I asked around for where people park at Logan and was told to just take the Logan Express Bus. Hurray for functioning public transportation! It's faster to take the bus than drive and seek parking.

Want to understand your advisor's advice? Ask about compensation, fiduciary duty, commissions, conflicts, and expertise. Learn why fee-only fiduciary standards matter. Link in comments. #Fiduciary #FeeOnlyAdvisor #FinancialPlanning #WealthManagement #NAPFA

Consulting a CFP is great , also look at NAPFA for someone that is not incentivized to recommend certain products over another. My question would be, does it feel different than 2020, 2008, 2000? Talk to them about your risk capacity, not just what losses you can stomach. Timing the market is hard.

Use a vetted directory like the XY Planning Network for CFPs who specialize in a new kind of financial planning not just asset management for retirees. Or check out NAPFA (the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors) for firms that are fee-only, fiduciary, and transparent about pricing.

You'll notice that earlier in the thread I suggested he look at NAPFA and the XY Planning Network, with an eye toward fee-only fiduciaries. Categorically dismissing advisors for the average retail investor because ARK exists is nonsense.
