#NASC2026
#NASC2026 Day 3 began with a keynote from Dr Bryce Barker. He emphasised the importance of an anthropological approach and ethnography in archaeology, and how this can help to challenge historic and colonial narratives.

Great to see relevance throughout adjacent disciplines for the ASHB community.

#nasc2026 has had some really great bioarchaeology presentations so far: "Research in the margins" highlighting historical erasure of marginalised groups and decolonising narratives.

It's been a great conference for ASHB members thus far and we are excited for the final day tomorrow.
