Why does responsibility for maintaining left unity suddenly become solely the responsibility of the people with the least reach? We are not perfect either but to you that's unforgivable and we are helping the Nats when we don't even hold a grain of sand of a politician attacking his partners.

I hate to say it—and I’ll only say it because I don’t have to worry about the Nats signing him—but Davey deserves another shot.
Will he implode in spectacular fashion? Almost certainly. Will it be mostly self-inflicted? Yes. But he did win a World Series. Someone (again, not us) should hire him.
