New to me and to my garden this morning is Cream-streaked Ladybird - Harmonia quadripunctata. Seen on blackcurrant under pine tree.

CfGA's Beautiful Burial Ground portal on the NBN Atlas boasts 20,570 records Volunteers at Newcastle under Lyme Cemetery have contributed an impressive 4,000+ species

Nearly 2,000 are invertebrates, mostly moths, testament to people with expertise & dedication to record them

V v shocked to find infestation of #invasivealien Zebra Mussels in Cut-off Channel at Stoke Ferry aqueduct, incl. killing a Duck Mussel. & a Demon Shrimp? From @NBNAtlas only 2nd shrimp record E of Great Ouse & most Eastern mussel on Cut-off.

Nice to nail an easily identifiable motif thanks to the ⁦@BritishBugs⁩ website. Oncotylus viridiflavus. Swept from common knapweed. Nymphs reminded me of young speckled bush-crickets. Not many Yorkshire records on ⁦@NBNAtlas⁩
