“Hi everyone, I just need to be clear my priority is revoking access as quickly as possible for this participant,” NDIA chief executive Rebecca Falkingham wrote to senior colleagues on June 7 last year. “All other issues are a second-order priority.”
Try not to overdo comparisons to robodebt. But this is closest I've seen to a post-robodebt copy of the playbook. NDIS boss demands participant be booted from scheme after conservative radio segment. The NDIA spent thirty-seven MILLION fighting disabled people & their families in court to stop us getting supports in 2023-2024.
In 2019-2021 they apparently lost 76% of cases at the then AAT.

Dutton must be pulled up on his #BudgetReply claim "We won’t cut frontline service delivery roles" while promising to cut 41k APS jobs which includes new frontline jobs in Services Australia, veterans affairs, biosecurity, customs, NDIA & more. You can't cut them w/out hitting frontline jobs #auspol

Participants in the National Disability Insurance Scheme will in most cases no longer be able to appeal their total amount of funding support to any external review body, executives have confirmed, after revelations about automation to be introduced to the organisation.

Last week I posted a TikTok about why I quit my job in the NDIA call centre (run by Serco). It has now received 125k views and counting; and dozens of comments from other ex Serco employees and even some ex Agency staff about the toxic culture within the NDIA. It's so much worse than I thought.
