I'm trying out some small CO2 monitors for an upcoming experiment. Aranet4 $190, Inkbird Plus $43, Vitalight $40, Airspot $163 (received free) agree, but I need to try at higher levels. NDIR sensors are good to within 50 ppm. Tradeoffs: price, size, battery life, connectivity.

What I have found is the issues around long term drift and "auto-calibration". The Senseaire Sunrise in the Aranet is still the best NDIR IMO. Airspot uses the Senserion SCD43 which seems to drift more over time. However I prefer it the most just due to the size and convenience.

yes, Aranet4 has built in algorithm to compensate for CO2 measurement according to altitude /air pressure/.

If you take a look at the technical specifications and you see "sensirion" or "senseair" as company or anything which mentions "NDIR" or "Photoacoustic" you are pretty much good. There are differences in accuracy but for most purposes they are all accurate enough.
