i wonder if anyone would someday wanna work together on a visual novel... NDUH is very far below the level i am capable of but its hard doing everything myself when i cant draw or anything >_<

i have a couple big magnum opus like, If I Can Pull It Off It'll Be A Really Solid Entry Into The Canon Of Online VNs stories that are more or less planned out and i'd just need the time and energy to make but it's hard cuz there's so much to dooooo. i havent even finished nduh yet.

i have a couple big magnum opus like, If I Can Pull It Off It'll Be A Really Solid Entry Into The Canon Of Online VNs stories that are more or less planned out and i'd just need the time and energy to make but it's hard cuz there's so much to dooooo. i havent even finished nduh yet.
also i've been discovering that there's like a whole community of like. fans of no dogs under heaven. this is insane to me. that it's important to more than maybe a dozen people is nuts. that every time i search it on x or tiktok i find fanart from new different people... nduh pfps... miis of mala..

i hate to say however that when i finally update NDUH, save files won't carry over anymore to the new update. From the next update onwards, they will, but if you played through Day 3, unforchies you'll have to replay it all :(

im curious what the specific draw of nduh was that nothing else had. i wish you could post polls on bsky so i could ask. is it cuz 4lung promoted it? is it the dithered pixel style? the photobashing? the vaguely remy boydell-ish dogs? the black and white and red look? the interactive bits?

creating an ancillary lore document to my vns and it has nothing about NDUH it just spends 100 pages talking about how in the world of EREBID San Antonio and Austin got a commuter rail line between them to cover that I changed the setting to SATX *after* i wrote the opening scene with the train.

Eventually I'll fix every typo and text box issue in NDUH. But for now I just want to get day 3 out. So apologies if it's got some issues >_< I know the text history function is a bit broken and there's some double spaces and stuff... I know how to fix it it'll just take an eternity.

OH YEAH the chapter about Lilith and Kiana's fucked up relationship was gonna be titled DEEP DOWN TRAUMA HOUNDS (after the Skinny Puppy song— the NDUH song titles gimmick was originally for this story bcuz the pilots had JoJo stand naming conventions for their powers)
Really though the execution and general meat and potatoes of it all is totally different. But when I see a character named Kione filling the same role as my character Kiana it does feel like if I didn't know Gundam and then named the main character's rival "Charles Aznavour".
