And one final thought: Ozzy going out after giving an emotional final performance that raised a ton of money for charity is more spiritually uplifting and did more genuine good than anything any televangelist and religious grifter who railed against him ever did combined.

Folks when you get tempted to share stuff like that, remember the old joke about the village idiot picking up a pile of dogshit with his bare hands and shoving it into everyone's face going "LOOK WHAT I NEARLY STEPPED IN!"

God, Angel Studios. At least back in the day when you had a studio that majored in cheap right wing schlock it had ninjas and richard lynch getting shot in the crotch with a rocket launcher.

Huh. The new HELLBOY movie is actually pretty decent. Obviously low budget (woooo that CG is *rough*) and the guy playing Hellboy acts like he's doing a Mickey Rourke impression but solid little EVIL DEAD style horror flick that happens to have Hellboy in it.

Well, can definitely say that one movie I did not expect to be reminded of while watching DISCLOSURE DAY was HIGHLANDER of all things. Both the opening scene and when we finally learn what Emily Blunt's deal is, all I could think was 'THEY HAVE BESTOWED THE QUICKENING UPON HER!"

Like...I will freely admit it's down to the fact that like Spike, I'm also dealing with "someone you love is on the way out and you can't do anything about it" but a story about to face that with love and dignity speaks more to me than "the special good guy will save us!"
14. 28 YEARS LATER is a more optimistic and uplifting movie than SUPERMAN '25.

God, I remember so many arguments that "SPEC OPS was bad because it didn't let you opt out of using the white phosphorous but then tells you you're bad for using it!"
like, y'all remember how many military shooters made you commit what amounted to war crimes and acted like it was nothing?
