Light from a star that reached my scope after a 9 billion year journey🤯 This is the gravitationally lensed #TwinQuasar (mag 16.7) in Ursa Major near #NGC3079 The light from A (brighter member) is 14 months ahead of B due to the lensed route around the hidden galaxy between us.

About 10 arcmin north of NGC3079 (at about 1 o'clock see also annotated image revision B on astrobin) is the famous Twin Quasar QSO 0957+561, aka PGC 2518326, the first gravitationally lensed QSO discovered in 1979.
